Thursday night's panel discussion and closing party at NHMLA was magical! It was so incredible to listen to these powerful women discuss their experience and role in tattoo history and the tattoo industry. Kari Barba,  Roxx,  Margot Mifflin and the moderator, Carla Santa Maria absolutely killed it! It was an honor to hear their stories and thoughts. Thank you to NHMLA for creating such an impactful and important exhibit.  We are sad to see the end of the exhibited but honored to have been apart of it.

We had another artist tattoo at the Natural History Museum last week. This time we had Jhon Gutti. The tattoo he chose to work on is very special. t's an image of legendary Whang-Od Oggay. She's a Filipina tattooist who is a big part of the exhibit. "Whang-od Oggay (born February 17, 1917), also known as Maria Oggay, is a Filipina tattoo artist from Buscalan, Tinglayan, Kalinga, Philippines. She is often described as the "last" and oldest mambabatok (traditional Kalinga tattooist)and is part of the Butbut people of the larger Kalinga ethnic group."

Check out some photos below. For info on the exhibit or to purchase tickets, visit nhm.org
